A massive drone raid on Russian territory took place on the night of January 27.
The Russian military command claims to have allegedly destroyed and intercepted 32 UAVs. In particular, 15 drones were “intercepted” over the territory of the Voronezh region, and 11 were “shot down” over the territory of the Belgorod region. Four more were destroyed over the territory of the Kursk region, and one each over the territories of the Oryol and Tver regions. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
And the authorities of the Tver region announced an alleged attempt to attack a local oil depot. The governor of the region, Igor Rudenya, announced the work of the air defense and assured that “there were no casualties or destruction as a result of the attack.”
Let us recall that on January 26, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian military attacked warehouses storing attack UAVs of the occupiers in the Oryol regions of Russia. The buildings where the thermobaric warheads that the drones were equipped with were stored were hit. It is preliminary known that more than 200 “martyrs” were destroyed.
