In the Sumy region, the mobile fire group of the Steel Border brigade by fire from the DShK machine gun was destroyed by the Russian drone of the Parody.
The corresponding video today, January 26, was published by the press service of the State Border Service.
Such drones are deceiving radars, creating the illusion of a more serious threat, such as Shahed or other shock UAVs. Timely destruction of such drones helps to concentrate forces on real threats, – say in the GNSU.
In the fall of 2024, the GUR published a photo of the fragments of parodies. These drones are made from plywood and designed to simulate “Shakheda”. They are much smaller and cheaper than the “mined”, but radarly imitate them. The Parody is one of the main drumen drones that Russia massively uses in air attacks against Ukraine.
