Poland farmers will not exclude that they can return to the Polish-Ukrainian border blockade, if necessary, to defend their own interests.

To avoid or limit possible Ukrainian-Polish border blockade attempts in the future, the Poland government introduced the border infrastructure to the critical list. On Thursday, on Thursday, January 23, at a meeting with journalists, the Poland government’s commissioner in collaboration with Ukraine, the chairman of the Polish Sejm Commission Pavel Koval, reports UKRinform.

“The government has introduced policies related to critical infrastructure, which has reduced the hassle associated with border protests,” Koval said.

He emphasized that the list of what is considered critical infrastructure has expanded.

“In Poland and all the EU, farmers are always looking for opportunities for organizing such protests that will be sensitive to the authorities.

At the same time, he noted that protests on the Polish-Ukrainian border were concerned about the situation that took place last year, this year there are no border problems between Poland and Ukraine.

Poland farmers prevented the border with Ukraine in some areas from February to April last year. Then their requests recall the Poland government’s denial from the course of European Green and the blockage of importation of various types of agricultural products from Ukraine.

In Poland, there are no cases when Ukraine’s agricultural production will remain in the country.

Remember that from November 2023 to the day of 2024, the poles occasionally blocked the checkpoints at the border with Ukraine. They asked to ban the importation of agricultural products from Ukraine.
