The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to record the regular passage of civilian ships to and from Russian ports through the Kerch Strait. During the day, the passage of the Kerch-Yenikal Strait was made by:
- to the Sea of Azov – 32 vessels, of which 15 vessels moved from the Bosporus;
- to the Black Sea – 25 vessels, of which 6 vessels continued to move towards the Bosporus Strait.
The message of the Navy states that the movement of civilian ships through the waters of the Sea of Azov continues to be carried out with the transmitters of the automatic identification system (AIS) turned off, which violates the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS).
