On the night of today, January 23, Russian invaders attacked Zaporozhye twice – with suicide bombers and ballistic missiles.
The head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, announced this in his Telegram channel.
As of 8.00 it is known that:
- The suicide attack destroyed one of the energy facilities. Residents and critical infrastructure facilities – boiler houses, health care and social security – were left without electricity.
- a 47-year-old man died;
- 24 people were injured, including a two-month-old boy;
- among the victims were rescuers and power engineers who eliminated the consequences of an enemy attack on a power facility;
- More than 20 thousand subscribers are left without electricity, another 17 thousand are left without heat supply.
All services are working at the impact sites, and philanthropists are also involved in eliminating the consequences. Points of inflexibility have been deployed,” Fedorov said.
