A fire broke out at a Russian military base in Armenia

In northern Armenia, in the city of Gyumri, a fire broke out on the territory of Russia’s 102nd military base. This was reported by the country’s Ministry of Emergency Situations on Tuesday, July 12.

The fire was reported at 15:55 local time. Initially, it was reported that the grass cover was burning. But eventually the data was clarified.

“The warehouse of building materials is on fire,” the ministry said.

Four fire and rescue combat crews were at the scene. At 19:00 the fire was localized. The cause of the fire was not reported and possible casualties.

Recall that in June there was a fire on the territory of a military unit in the city of Klintsy, Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. The released video showed Russian military trucks burning.

Also in early June, there was a strong fire in the building of the Grand Setun Plaza business center in Moscow. The fire consumed four floors of the building.
