The current judge of the Economic Court of the city of Kyiv, the fugitive president Yanukovych and the prime minister of his times Azarov were informed of suspicion of high treason (part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 111 as amended on 04/05/2001).
According to the investigation, a group of officials, including judges, acting by prior conspiracy, used their official position to make deliberately unlawful decisions.
These actions were accompanied by manipulations with the system of automated distribution of court cases, which ensured the appointment of the “right” judges to consider specific cases, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.
As a result, an artificial legal basis was created, which made it possible to illegally recover significant funds from the state budget of Ukraine, damaging its financial solvency and helping to strengthen the defense potential of the aggressor country.
During the investigation, law enforcement officers established a violation of the oath of office by the judge of the Economic Court of Kyiv and confirmed his participation in a conspiracy aimed at transferring UAH 3 billion in the interests of Russia.
The investigation continues, investigative actions are taking place aimed at collecting additional evidence, including the participation of other persons.
A petition was sent to the High Council of Justice for consent to the detention and temporary removal of a judge from the administration of justice in connection with his criminal prosecution.
