    A sabotage group of Russian special services was neutralized in the Rivne region.

    Miscreants detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) on a railway track while a Defense Forces freight train was moving. Thus, the enemy hoped to disrupt the railway logistics of defense supplies for Ukrainian troops on the front line, the SBU press center reports.

    SBU officers stopped the train ahead of time at a safe distance from the scene of the incident and ensured security of the corresponding location, which made it possible to avoid an accident and human casualties. After the repair of the railway track, train traffic was resumed, the special service said.

    It is noted that the enemy agents who were trying to escape from the crime scene were detained “hot on their heels” – they turned out to be two local residents, 30 and 32 years old, whom the enemy recruited through Telegam channels in search of “quick money.”

    According to the instructions of the occupiers, the defendants personally manufactured the SVP based on plastic, which they took from a previously prepared cache, the SBU said. “The attackers planted explosives under the rails and activated them remotely as the military train approached.

    During the search the following was confiscated from the detainees:

    • SVP elements;
    • mobile phones red-handed activities in the interests of Russia.

    Enemy agents were informed of suspicion under Part 113 of the Criminal Code (sabotage committed under martial law).

    The perpetrators face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

    If you are being recruited to set fire to a Ukrainian Armed Forces car, an administrative building, a terrorist attack or mining, immediately report this to the SBU chatbot “Spali” FSBeshnik” – t.

    The press service of the Rivne regional prosecutor’s office reports that the saboteurs are residents of the Rivne region. The elements necessary for the explosive device, as well as a video camera for filming the execution of the order, were sent to them by mail.

    At the beginning of January, the attackers came to Rivne, planted explosives, the detonator of which was a mobile phone, under the railway tracks on the Zdolbunov-Rivne section, retreated to a safe distance and, by calling this phone, remotely detonated the device immediately before the passage of a freight train. prosecutor’s office

    The attackers agreed to organize sabotage on the railway for 10 thousand US dollars.
