A massive Russian combined attack on Ukraine occurred on the morning of January 15th.
The occupiers not only launched attack UAVs, but also cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers, as well as “Calibers” from Black Sea launch vehicles, ballistic weapons and tactical aviation missiles. The attack was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Telegram.
Explosions were heard in Kharkov, Krivoy Rog, Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Khmelnytsky regions.
Amid the attack, Ukrenergo began implementing emergency power outages in some areas. We are talking about Kharkov, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk and Kirovograd regions.
And the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko announced preventive blackouts due to the Russian attack.
The enemy does not stop terrorizing Ukrainians. Due to the massive attack, the transmission system operator is applying preventive restrictive measures,” he wrote on Facebook.
Let us recall that on the night of January 14, Russia attacked Ukraine with 80 Shahed-type attack UAVs, but the air defense shot down 58 drones. Another 21 enemy simulator drones were lost.
