The daughter of Irina Farion, who died in Lviv in the summer of 2024, demands payment of 15 million UAH in moral damages from Vyacheslav Zinchenko, a suspect in the murder of her mother.
This was reported on January 13 by Public.
Sofia Osoba said that these funds will not return her mother to her, or to Ukraine – “a super-powerful figure of our time.” All money will be used to support the defense forces, in particular, the military unit where her husband served and died.
During the hearing of the case of the murder of linguist Farion, the court also decided to strengthen security measures for the transportation of the accused Zinchenko; he receives threats on social networks.
Zinchenko’s lawyers asked for time to study the claim. The consideration of the case was adjourned until February 13.
