Ukraine will receive military assistance from Lithuania.
Vilnius plans to transfer 4,500 drones to the Ukrainian defense forces. The total cost of this military assistance will be 5 million euros. Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Šakaliene announced this on the social network H.
I am proud to announce that this week Lithuania is sending 4,500 drones worth 5 million euros to Ukraine, the report says.
It is noted that the Lithuanian government has approved a new, faster procedure for the transfer of military aid to speed up support. These changes will significantly reduce the time required for procedures, which will ensure that aid reaches Ukraine as quickly as possible.
Let us remind you that the Ukrainian drone coalition began work on February 17 of this year. The coalition was led by Latvia and Great Britain. Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, the Netherlands, Canada and Luxembourg also joined the coalition.
And recently it became known that within the framework of the Ramstein format, the Ukrainian Defense Forces will begin massively supplying Ukraine with tens of thousands of drones of various types from January.
