Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that Kyiv is ready to exchange prisoners of war from North Korea captured by the Ukrainian Armed Forces if Ukrainian soldiers in captivity return to their homeland instead.
Ukraine is ready to transfer [диктатору КНДР] Kim Jong-in his people, if he can organize their exchange for our soldiers held captive in Russia,” Zelensky wrote on his social networks.
On Saturday, January 11, Zelensky published photographs of two soldiers from the DPRK, who, according to him, were captured in the Kursk region.
For those North Korean soldiers who do not want to return, there may be other options. In particular, those Koreans who express a desire to bring peace closer through the dissemination of the Korean truth about this war will receive this opportunity, the Ukrainian president said.
