US President-elect Donald Trump said on Thursday, January 9, that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin wants to meet with him. According to him, the meeting is being prepared, Reuters reports.
Trump spoke about preparations for the meeting in his speech at a meeting of Republican governors at Mar-a-Lago.
“He wants to meet, and we’ll work it out,” Trump said.
Some other media interpreted the translation as Trump saying “and we agree with it.” At the same time, he did not name any date for the meeting.
