The Liberal Democratic Party proposed calling the President of the Russian Federation as leader because of historical differences.
In the Russian Federation, it has been proposed to officially call Putin “manager” or “head of state.” This proposal was made by LDPR functionaries. On Sunday, July 10, RIA Novosti reported in connection with the press service of the Duma group.
Zhirinovsky’s heirs explained their initiative by saying that the word “president” had foreign roots, and the position had to be renamed before it could “fully take root.”
“The title of the position of head of state has always been confusing to us. The term” president “in the sense of head of the executive branch was first used only in the late 18th century in the United States, and more eventually spread throughout “In our country, it is a new word by historical standards, and, so far, it is not yet fully rooted, you can safely replace it,” the LDPR explained.
The LDPR believes that the 1991 president and the current president are two people of different status, because Boris Yeltsin was elected according to the RSFSR Constitution, and Vladimir Putin according to the Russian Constitution.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the LDPR’s initiative to change the official title of head of state.
According to Peskov, the Kremlin has not yet thought about it: “It’s a new idea.”
“There is no position on this issue,” Putin’s spokesman added.
Recall that the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, former President of Poland, 78-year-old Lech Walesa believes that Russia should be reduced to 50 million people.
