Saratov regional authorities are calling a large-scale fire at an oil storage facility “minor damage to an industrial facility.”
Drones in the Russian city of Engels attacked the Crystal oil storage facility, where fuel reserves for the Engels-2 airbase are stored.
The fire there was confirmed by footage published by the governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin, as well as local residents.
A Russian official called the massive fire “minor damage to an industrial facility.”
As already reported, Engels was attacked by drones. According to local residents, at least 40 explosions occurred in the city. Debris also started a fire in the oil depot area.
