Russian Engelsk in the Saratov region was attacked by drones. Locals reported hearing dozens of explosions, and they continued. It was written by local Telegram channels on Wednesday, January 8. In addition, the attack on the city was confirmed by the governor of the Saratov region, Roman Busargin.
“Air defense forces shot down a UAV with debris hitting an industrial facility in Engels and emergency services are working in the area,” Busargin said.
According to locals, at least 40 explosions took place in the city. Debris also started a fire in the oil depot area.
