In the Chernihiv region yesterday, January 6, fires broke out as a result of enemy shells hitting a residential building in the border town of Semenovka. The fire destroyed several houses.
This morning, the invaders attacked the city again, the press service of the State Emergency Service reports.
It is noted that as a result of today’s shelling, three people were injured:
- men aged 45 and 65 years;
- 68-year-old woman;
- two victims were urgently hospitalized.
One of the city’s enterprises, buildings and residents’ homes were also damaged.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service worked tirelessly at the scene, quickly extinguishing fires, helping the victims and restoring safety, the department noted.
