The Serbian mercenary and former Russian spy Bratislav Zivkovic was liquidated in the Kursk region.
The militant died on January 2 “in heavy battles for the liberation of the Kursk region.” Pro-Russian Telegram channels disseminated the relevant information. Digi24 reports this.
It is noted that Zivkovic once headed the extremist organization “Chetnic Pokrov” in Serbia. The militant has participated in hostilities on the side of pro-Russian forces since 2014. In 2017, Romania declared him an undesirable person and banned him from entering for 15 years due to espionage activities in favor of the aggressor country, Russia.
The mercenary was arrested in Serbia in 2018 and accused of participating in hostilities on the side of a foreign state. He was subsequently released.
In Ukraine, criminal proceedings were opened against Zhivkovic for recruiting foreigners to participate in the war.
Let us remind you that as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on Lgov, Colonel Oleg Timoshin was killed. This war criminal gave the order to strike a residential building in the Dnieper and was involved in a missile attack on a shopping center in Kremenchug, the city house of culture of the Kharkov region and a high-rise building in the Odessa region.
