The United States of America will remain Ukraine’s “most important fan,” the US Secretary of State emphasized.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin failed in a full-scale war against Ukraine. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said this in an interview with The New York Times.
“Putin’s ambition is to wipe it (Ukraine – ed.) off the map. We prevented that. Putin failed. Ukraine stands. And I believe that it also has a unique potential not only to survive, but to develop in the future, he said.
Blinken noted that the future of Ukraine, among other things, depends on the decisions made by the future administration of the newly elected US President Donald Trump.
The US Secretary of State hopes that the United States will remain Ukraine’s “most important fan”. Regarding the end of the war, Blinken believes that this decision rests only with the Ukrainians.
Let’s recall that Blinken previously named the condition for peace in Ukraine. The US Secretary of State also said that Russia was seriously considering using nuclear weapons in Ukraine, but China decided against it.
