Russian invaders do not stop storming the positions of Ukrainian defenders, trying to break through the defense line in several directions.

This was announced today, January 5, in the morning on the Telegram channel of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, four assault attempts were recorded:
- one of them is in the Zaporozhye direction;
- in the Gulyai-Polye direction, the enemy continues to conduct aerial and engineering reconnaissance, replenish ammunition, periodically train personnel and build up communications, electronic warfare and air defense systems;
- in the Dnieper direction, the priority for the enemy remains the island zone at the mouth of the Dnieper. Over the past 24 hours, three unsuccessful assault attempts were recorded.
