The number of victims as a result of the Russian bombing of the village of Svesa in the Sumy region has doubled.
A five-story residential building was damaged as a result of enemy attacks. The entrance from the fifth to the first floor of a five-story residential building was destroyed. In total, the shelling damaged four apartment buildings. The State Emergency Service announced this on January 4, as reported on Telegram.
According to preliminary information, 10 people were injured, including two children. State Emergency Service employees managed to evacuate 14 people and save the grandmother.
Currently, rescuers continue to carry out emergency recovery and search operations. Two stationary indestructibility points of local authorities were deployed at the scene of the incident.
The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that 15 apartments were destroyed as a result of the shelling.
Let us recall that on January 4, Russian aviation dropped two guided aerial bombs on an apartment building in the Sveskaya community of the Shostkinsky district. The enemy attack destroyed one entrance. Authorities said two children and one adult were injured, but there may still be people trapped under the rubble.
