On the night of January 2, the enemy dropped 11 guided bombs on Stepnogorsk. As a result of the shelling, a five-story residential building was destroyed. The head of the Zaporozhye regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported this on Telegram.
Rescuers recovered the body of a deceased man from under the rubble of a destroyed house. The search and rescue operation lasted more than five hours.
In total, during January 1, the Russians carried out 361 attacks on 11 settlements in the Zaporozhye region. In particular, the enemy used 221 drones, carried out 10 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems and carried out 119 artillery strikes. There were 11 reports of destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure.
Let us remind you that on December 21, the Russian army attacked the cancer clinic in Kherson. Enemy aircraft dropped two guided bombs on a medical facility. No patients or medical staff were injured, but the building suffered significant damage as a result of the bombing.
