Russian propaganda media are spreading information that a Ukrainian pilot surrendered in the Kursk region.
According to the Air Force, unfortunately, cases of capture of military personnel who previously served in this type of troops do occur. But, as the PS emphasized, the information about the capture of the Ukrainian pilot is fake.
All Ukrainian pilots continue to perform missions to protect the country, the PS said in a statement on December 29.
Previously, the Air Force warned that Russian messages and videos of interrogations of captured Ukrainian soldiers are part of the information war waged by the aggressor. The dissemination of such materials is used to demoralize the Ukrainian military and civilian population in order to influence public opinion both inside and outside Ukraine.
