One UAV was shot down on the evening of July 8, and on the morning of July 9, two more drones were destroyed. The servicemen of the Center air command anti-aircraft missile regiment, performing combat missions in certain areas in the east of the country, worked professionally. This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Telegram.
The published military footage shows how a Ukrainian missile hits an enemy drone.
This is yet another confirmation of the conscientious performance of duties, professionalism and skillful actions of the anti-aircraft missile servicemen, the command emphasized.
On July 9, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that during 136 days of a full-scale Ukrainian-Russian war, the Ukrainian military shot down 217 enemy aircraft, 187 helicopters, shot down 647 operational-tactical drones and 155 cruise missiles.
Recall that on June 28 in the Nikolaev region, the defenders of Ukraine successfully landed an enemy reconnaissance drone Orlan-10 from the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system.
