Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico offered his country as a platform for peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, and for Russia this is an “acceptable option.”

    .

After an informal summit of the heads of the CIS countries, the Russian dictator said that he “strives to end the conflict in Ukraine,” but noted that Russia “will continue to achieve the goals of the SVO (as Moscow calls the war against Ukraine) in 2025.”

Also, according to him, US President Joe Biden in 2021 offered him to postpone Ukraine’s admission to NATO “for 10-15 years” in exchange for freezing the war.

Putin also spoke about Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico’s visit to Moscow last week. According to him, Slovakia offered its territory for negotiations with Ukraine to end the war. Russia, Putin says, supports this proposal.
