Wholesale prices of industrial producers in November 2024 compared to November last year increased by 24.1%.
Prices within Ukraine increased by 24.8%. And prices outside Ukraine increased by 15.7%. Prices for the production of dairy products increased the most – by 25.1%, including within Ukraine – by 23.6%. Prices for meat production increased by 12.5%, including within Ukraine – by 12.6%. This was reported on the website of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
Manufacturers of bread, bakery and flour products also raised prices. They rose by 12.5%, and within Ukraine – by 12.6%.
Beverage production also increased in price by 5.2%, including within Ukraine – by 4.9%.
At the same time, prices for sugar producers fell over the year – by 8.7%, including within Ukraine – by 7.3%.
It is noted that wholesale prices from product manufacturers are transferred to prices on store shelves with a lag of several months.
Let us remind you that the Christmas table in Ukraine this year has risen in price by 41% than in 2023. The average Ukrainian family will have to spend about 1 thousand 365 UAH on food to prepare 12 traditional dishes on Christmas Eve.
