The authorities of several countries have informed Russia of their readiness to be the platform for a meeting between leader Vladimir Putin and US President-elect Donald Trump. This was announced by the aide to the Russian dictator Yuri Ushakov, RosSMI reported.
Journalists asked if similar proposals were received from the leaders of Hungary and Slovakia. Ushakov did not confirm this.
“I would say, oddly enough, we have already received several proposals on this matter from different countries, I will not say which countries they are, so as not to determine the possible or impossible development of the events being done,” he said to the assistant by Ushakov.
Let’s recall that Trump previously said that Putin expressed a desire to meet with him soon to discuss the war in Ukraine.
Last week, at his annual news conference, Putin said he was “ready” for potential talks with Trump.
