The investigation established that the drug business was organized by a 28-year-old resident of Krivoy Rog, who was a member of the former criminal organization of Krivoy Rog “Dvadtsatovskie”. The latter sent wholesale quantities of cannabis to the capital by mail, hidden inside a hydraulic accumulator.
The accomplices sold cannabis wrapped in small parcels to acquaintances in the capital “hand to hand”, and also sent it by mail to other regions, disguised as parcels of animal feed.
The monthly income from the drug business brought the sellers more than 5 million hryvnias.
During the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officials conducted more than 30 searches of the attackers’ residences, jobs and vehicles. As a result of the searches, 13 kg of cannabis, mephedrone, amphetamine, equipment for growing drug plants, money, cars, etc. were seized.
All members of the organized group were informed of the suspicion and preventive measures were taken in the form of detention.
