A curfew is a period in which people are forbidden to go on the street and in other public places without specially issued passes and identification.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will place separate responsibility on the administration for violating the curfew. The government has already agreed on the corresponding bill. RBC-Ukraine reported this on Friday, December 20, citing its own sources.
Journalists say that for staying in public places during prohibited hours without a pass, they propose a fine of 50 to 100 thousand rubles (850-1,700 hryvnias).
However, people who:
-
go to shelters;
-
provide medical or pre-medical care;
-
accompany the injured or seriously ill;
-
evacuate or save property.
Also, fines will not be applied in other cases of threat to the lives of citizens.
It is noted that this decision is not yet final, as the bill must still be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.
We remind you that curfew is a time when people are forbidden to go on the street and in other public places without specially issued passes and certificates.
The curfew in the Kherson region has been extended, from October 15 it is set from 20.00 to 6.00 every day.
Since September 23, a new type of pass for transportation during the curfew is valid in Kyiv.
