A Russian early morning missile attack left a man dead in Kyiv.
Rescuers found the body of one victim at the site of enemy shelling. The number of wounded increased to nine. Four of them are in hospital. The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko announced this on Telegram.
According to the mayor, as a result of the impact and damage to the heating main in the Goloseevsky district, there are now 630 residential buildings, 16 medical institutions, 17 schools and 13 kindergartens without heat. Kievteploenergo crews have already begun work to eliminate the consequences of the damage.
Also in Kyiv, the Toronto business center, located opposite the Church of St. Nicholas in the Goloseevsky district on Bolshaya Vasylkivska Street, was damaged. The windows in the temple itself were blown out by the blast wave.
The State Emergency Service has published new photographs of the consequences of the attacks on the capital.
Let us recall that on the morning of December 20, the Russians used Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from the MiG-31K and Iskander/KN-23 ballistic missiles to shell Kyiv. Fragments of rockets fell in Goloseevsky, Solomensky and Shevchenkovsky districts.
