An urgent meeting of the conciliation council was held in the Verkhovna Rada today, December 17.

    .

The chairman made a decision to urgently instruct the committees to consider bill No. 8089 and resolution No. 7694, which provided for the early termination of the powers of people’s deputies elected in the national multi-member constituency and in constituencies from the banned “Opposition Platform”.

However, there were not enough votes to make the relevant decision. People’s Deputy Alexey Goncharenko reported this on his Telegram channel.

She was supported by European Solidarity, Motherland, Voice, Trust, For the Future. Did not support – Servants of the People, OPZZH. The decision has not been made, the people’s deputy said.

Both documents were submitted to the Rada back in 2022, but they have still not been considered.
