Unknown drones monitored a US military base and industrial facilities in Germany.
On the evening of December 3 and 4, many unknown UAVs were spotted over the American military base Ramstein. Also, drones were recorded over objects belonging to the defense concern Rheinmetall and the chemical concern BASF. German security authorities searched for drone operators, but were unsuccessful. This was reported by Spiegel with reference to a secret security report.
United States Army officials confirmed the flights of unknown drones over Ramstein and said there was no impact on people living on the base or military equipment stationed there.
The intelligence services are already investigating this incident as “agency activity for sabotage purposes.”
As you know, the American military base “Ramstein” is one of the largest and most important US military bases outside the country. It is a key hub for NATO and US operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Let us recall recently unknown UAVs over American air bases in the UK. The drones flew from 20 to 22 November over Lakenheath and Mildenhall bases in Suffolk in eastern England and Feltwell base in Norfolk.
