In 77% of settlements in the so-called “LPR” – 714 out of 920 – it is impossible to purchase medicine.
To purchase vital medical supplies, the local population has to travel several tens of kilometers. The press service of the Lugansk Public Educational Institution reported this today, December 12.
At the same time, in 88 villages, medicines are dispensed only at feldsher-midwife stations and exclusively on the days on which they are open. The list of medical products there is extremely limited.
It cannot be said that the situation is better in the other 118 settlements. For example, in Rubezhnoye or Severodonetsk, where on average one pharmacy serves 10 thousand people, excluding guests from neighboring cities and villages, the OVA notes.
In addition, according to OVA information, in more than 400 occupied settlements in the region there are not even first aid stations at all – it is impossible to get even a basic medical consultation there.
