A Russian agent in Kharkov was exposed and detained by the Security Service of Ukraine.
A 60-year-old former commercial security guard worked for the occupiers and decided to become a spotter for the Russian special services. The traitor photographed one of the military installations near his house through the window of his apartment and sent these pictures to the Russian curator. He was also ordered to record the results of possible shelling to clarify enemy attacks and assess damage. The SBU press center reported this on December 9.
The agent also secretly filmed other military installations during walks, changing routes, and used an anonymous messenger account to communicate with his curators. The attacker wanted to send Russian KABs at a military facility, but law enforcement stopped this attack in time.
The detainee has already been declared a suspect under Part 2 of Art. 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to eight years in prison.
Let us remind you that in Nikolaev the SBU detained an agent of the Russian Federal Security Service. This former teacher at a local university corrected enemy missile and drone attacks on the regional center. The traitor tried to identify air defense combat positions in order to direct Russian missiles to bypass them.
