More than a thousand Ukrainian soldiers are being trained in Britain

Ukraine’s defenders are improving their skills in handling weapons provided by allied countries.

On the territory of the partner countries, the training of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues – ground specialists, airborne assault forces, special operations forces, and air forces. This was announced on Thursday, July 7, in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Today more than a thousand military personnel are improving their skills in the UK. A training course in Germany was completed recently so that our military personnel have mastered the weapons provided by the partners,” he said.

The General Staff expressed gratitude to the British authorities for supporting Ukraine.

As reported, on July 5, the first group of Ukrainian military personnel arrived in Britain for training, which will last several weeks.
