Zelensky after meeting with Trump: Peace is possible

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky announced a “good and productive” meeting with newly elected US President Donald Trump in Paris. The head of state announced this on Telegram on Saturday, December 7.

Zelensky emphasized that Trump, as always, is decisive.

“I thank him. I also thank Emmanuel for organizing this important meeting. We all want this war to end as quickly and fairly as possible. We talked about our people, about in the situation on the ground, about a just world,” the president explained.

At the same time, the head of state emphasized that during the conversation they agreed to continue cooperation and maintaining contact.

“Peace is possible through strength,” Zelensky stressed.
