The Ukrainian military destroyed another air defense system of the occupiers.
In the Zaporozhye direction, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces group discovered a Russian Tor M-2 anti-aircraft missile system. The hostile target was successfully destroyed. The Unmanned Systems Forces announced this on December 7 in Telegram.
It is noted that the Russian system was first discovered by the 14th separate regiment of unmanned aerial systems. And then the NEMESIS strike drone attacked the target.
The military emphasizes that the destruction of enemy air defense systems causes millions of losses to Russia and opens up airspace for further operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
As you know, the Tor-M2 anti-aircraft missile system is designed to destroy aircraft, missiles and drones at medium and low altitudes. The unit cost is estimated at approximately $27 million.
Let us remind you that the other day the Unmanned Systems Forces showed how, in the Zaporozhye direction, the defenders of Ukraine used drones to hit the enemy BM 9A331M2 “Tor M-2” air defense system.
