Newly elected US President Donald Trump has named businessman and investor David Sachs responsible for policy in the field of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency. The politician announced this on his social network Truth Social.

“I am pleased to announce that David O. Sachs will be the White House Artificial Intelligence and Cryptocurrency Czar,” Trump wrote.

The Republican noted that Sachs will be responsible for the administration’s policies in the field of artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies – “two areas critical to America’s future competitiveness.”

Sachs will focus on “making the United States the undisputed world leader in these areas.”

In addition, Sachs will chair the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology.
