Representatives of the volunteer community were awarded the Golden Heart – a special distinction of the President of Ukraine.
On December 5, President Vladimir Zelensky awarded the volunteers a special Golden Heart award. He announced this in his evening address.
“Thanks to the volunteers, to each and everyone who helps the army in Ukraine, to all the people of the world who are with Ukraine Today I celebrated the representatives of the volunteer community with the “Golden Heart” – a special distinction of the President of Ukraine, “said Zelensky.
Let’s remember that on International Volunteer Day, President Vladimir Zelensky congratulated volunteers on the holiday, noting that they have become the backbone of the country, uniting different Ukrainians with a common goal.
It was also reported that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Alexander Syrsky, met with representatives of the public: volunteers Igor Lachenkov and Sergei Sternenko, the founder of the Dignitas charitable foundation Lyubov Shipovich and human rights activist and co-founder of the NGO Principle Lyubov Galan.
