Raids on conscripts have been intensified in the temporarily occupied Lugansk region.
This was reported today, December 4, on the Telegram channel of the Lugansk OVA.
Employees of military registration and enlistment offices conduct checks in public places and go to the addresses they have, the OVA said.
It is noted that the main task of the occupiers is to force young people to sign a contract with the Russian army, bypassing military service.
Previously, this could be done after at least three months of military service. However, one of the amendments to Russian legislation makes it possible to bypass such a “formality,” as the occupiers talk about it, and immediately send young people to the combat zone, notes the OVA.
