The reason for the temporary increase in restrictions was damage to energy facilities during a massive missile and drone attack on November 28.
Ukrenergo has announced a schedule of light restrictions for December 4, noting that up to two rounds of blackouts will be in effect in Ukraine.
Disabilities will apply to the following extent:
For residential buyers
-
08:00 – 23:00 – two rounds of shutdown
-
23:00 – 24:00 – a turn off
For industry and business, power limit schedules will apply from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm
It was noted that the reason for the temporary increase in restrictions was damage to energy facilities during a massive missile and drone attack on November 28.
The company assured that power engineers are working hard to restore enemy-damaged equipment to operation as soon as possible.
However, the application time and the amount of day restrictions may change. Up-to-date information about outage schedules in a particular region can be found on the website or official oblenergo pages on social networks.
The message also contains a reminder that Ukrenergo only determines the number of queues to be de-energized. While the outage schedules for each individual queue are determined by the regional power companies.
Energy workers called for energy savings.
Let’s add that on the morning of November 28, the Russians carried out the 11th massive missile and drone attack on the Ukrainian energy system since the beginning of the year.
Energy facilities were damaged in some regions. Emergency recovery work began immediately after the air raid was lifted.
Let’s remember that consumers in each area that are not included in the list of critical infrastructure items are divided into 6 queues (groups). The application of the three-phase restriction means that half of the customers in each region are subject to hourly outage schedules. Four queues – limits to 70% of buyers in each area.
When oblenergos use one queue of closing schedules – this is 4 hours of restrictions per day, two queues – 8 hours of restrictions, three queues – 12 hours of restrictions, four queues – more than 12 time restrictions.
How to distribute this load during the day, how long the queue is, is the responsibility of the regional power companies.
As you know, on the morning of November 17, due to an attack by the Russians, emergency power outages were introduced in Ukraine. It was later cancelled.
