In December, Ukraine will receive from Germany the sixth IRIS-T air defense system, Patriot launchers and Gepard anti-aircraft guns.
This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on December 2 during a press conference in Kyiv with President Vladimir Zelensky.
Germany will support Ukraine “as long as it takes,” Scholz assured Zelensky. He also clarified what weapons systems Ukraine will receive by the end of this year. There were no long-range Taurus missiles among those being inflated.
Zelensky noted that at the meeting they discussed the situation at the front and the strengthening of Ukraine. Scholz confirmed that Germany will continue to supply weapons in 2025, including air defense, drones and helicopters.
