The French Parliament called for military instructors to be sent to Ukraine.
A letter with the corresponding content was sent by 5 deputies from different political groups to the country’s Minister of Defense Sébastien Lecornu, People’s Deputy of the French Parliament Frédéric Petit reported on the X network:
The brutality of the fighting and the growing Russian pressure in the Donbass force us to believe that army training on the territory of France and Poland must now continue on Ukrainian soil.

According to him, the task of the French military in Ukraine should not be a war against the Russian Army, but the training of Ukrainian soldiers who defend the integrity of their territory.
Today France can take the leading role in this coalition, along with the British, Polish, Baltic and Scandinavian armies. They believe that amid possible negotiations, France and other European countries should avoid displays of weakness and not allow the Kremlin to dictate its behavior by drawing red lines, Petit said.
