An interim traffic management scheme has been developed. The detour route will pass through the territories of three regions
Traffic at the dam of the Kremenchug hydroelectric power station in Svetlovodsk, Kirovograd region, is completely blocked due to repairs. The State Service of Ukraine for Transport Safety reported this on Saturday, November 30.
“A temporary traffic management scheme has been developed by a detour route in the territories of the three regions is provided,” said the message.
It is indicated that the temporary route passes through the territory of Kirovograd (on public roads of state importance M-22 – M-30 – N-01), Cherkasy (roads N-01 – H-16 – H-08) and Poltava (road N – 08) areas.
Individually designed road signs 5.63 describing a detour scheme to inform drivers will be placed at major transport hubs in the regions.

Let’s remember that during the war, all the hydroelectric power stations in Ukraine were attacked by the Russian invaders. In total, hydroelectric power plants lost about 40% of their generation.
It was also learned that the Kanevskaya PSPP will be moved underground. Ukrhydroenergo stated that it is necessary to build such an energy infrastructure so that it cannot be reached by the enemy.
