Last Wednesday night, the ship Zhibek Zholy left the port of Karasu. Earlier it was reported about his detention after Ukraine’s request.
The Russian -flagged cargo ship Zhibek Zholy, carrying stolen Ukrainian grain, left a port in Turkey. This was reported on Thursday, July 7, by the Daily Mail, citing refinitiv vessel tracking data.
It was noticed that in the evening, on July 6, the ship left the northwestern port of Karasu.
Turkey had earlier reportedly detained a ship with stolen Ukrainian grain after Ukraine’s request to arrest the bulk carrier.
Prior to that, it was learned that Russia was exporting grain from Berdyansk. The port left the cargo ship carrying 7,000 tons of grain. Then the name of the ship was not called. The occupiers said the grain was sent to “friendly countries.”
