Presidential Communications Adviser Dmitry Lytvyn responded to US calls for lowering the mobilization age in Ukraine.
He noted that the promised weapons were not arriving on time and there were not enough weapons to equip the already mobilized soldiers.
He added that “partners have full access to the data and can compare promises with actual delivery.”
As the AP previously reported, a Joseph Biden administration official says the outgoing Democratic administration appears to want Ukraine to lower the conscription age to 18 from 25 to help expand the pool of military-age men.
According to him, the “pure mathematics” of the situation in which Ukraine now finds itself is that it needs more troops to conduct combat operations.
