A new temperature record has been set in Kyiv. This was announced by the Boris Sreznevsky Central Geophysical Observatory on Thursday, July 7th.
The weather station noted that the highest air temperature on July 6 in Kyiv reached +34.3 ° C.
The previous record was recorded by meteorologists in 1924, when the thermometer showed +33.9 ° C.
The observatory added that the absolute maximum air temperature in the capital for the entire period of observations remained on July 30, 1936, when meteorologists recorded + 39.4 ° С.
Earlier it was reported that bad weather is expected in Ukraine – rains, hail and squalls in some areas.
In addition, in Kyiv, for several days in a row, the weather beat temperature records.
