As a result of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, 347 children died and more than 646 were injured. This was announced on July 7 by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
“Children suffered the most in the Donetsk region – 347, Kharkiv – 186, Kyiv – 116, Chernihiv – 68, Lugansk – 61, Mykolaiv – 53, Kherson – 52, Zaporozhye – 31,” said the GPU.
It was noted that the numbers were not final, as the work was carried out in areas of active fighting, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

Prosecutors recall that on July 6, Russian troops fired on Toretsk, Donetsk region, and Skadovsk, Kherson region. In Toretsk, a 17-year-old girl was found under the rubble of one of the destroyed houses, and in Skadovsk, a child was injured.
