Ukrainian air defense again repelled an attack by Russian drones at night.
Last night, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 73 Shahed attack UAVs and unidentified drones from Orel and the Bryansk region. The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on November 24 in Telegram.
As of 9:00, it was known that 50 enemy drones had been shot down in the Kyiv, Cherkassy, Kirovograd, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Zhytomyr regions. Another 19 enemy drones were locally lost, presumably due to active counteraction to the electronic warfare of the Defense Forces.
At the time of publication of the news, four Russian UAVs were in the air and combat operations continued.
Let us remind you that on the night of November 24, air defense forces shot down all the Russian drones that the enemy launched in the direction of Kyiv. The air raid alarm lasted more than 3 hours in total, and the UAVs approached the capital in different directions. Previously, there was no destruction in Kyiv, and there was no information about casualties.
