During the current day, November 22, from 01.30, Russian invaders are attacking Ukraine with Shahed attack drones and unidentified drones from the Russian Oryol.
In total, the radio technical troops of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces detected and escorted 114 enemy air targets. This was reported by the press service of the Air Force.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare equipment and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the attack, the report says.
As of 17.30:
- air defense shot down 64 enemy drones, mainly in the center of the country and in the northeastern regions;
- 41 drones – lost in location, presumably due to active counteraction to the electronic warfare of the Defense Forces;
- two more Russian UAVs left Ukrainian airspace in the direction of Russia and Belarus;
- four enemy UAVs were still in Ukrainian airspace.
At 18:48, a message appeared on the Telegram channel of the Air Force about the end of the threat of the use of enemy strike UAVs.
